About the OKC Hockey Booster Club
Welcome to the website of the Oklahoma City Hockey Booster Club!
We are the ONLY OFFICIAL BOOSTER CLUB of the Oklahoma City Barons. The booster club has been in existence since 1992 and is excited to welcome our new AHL team.
The purpose of the club is to encourage the team and help get fans involved in a great sport! We have chosen to support Oklahoma Youth Hockey as our charity and have worked very successfully with them in the past.

Perhaps the greatest shots Plante faced in his magnificent & unusual career came from critics(managers, coaches & even fellow goalies) who targeted him as a rebel & coward for his face mask. Plante challenged everyone stepping into the direct line of fire at Madison Square Gardens on Nov. 1, 1959. After a blistering Andy Bathgate backhand turned his nose into pulp. Plante reteated to the medical clinic, bloodied but not intimidated. The 4-Time Vazinz Trophy winner pulled out his
self-styled mask & stood up to Coach Toe Blake & other skeptics. Blake agreed to allow the mask & Plante put a new face on the future of goaltending.
